Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center provider, Anita Kostecki, MD, was presented the Department’s Chair Award. This award is given to recognize extraordinary service and achievement within the Department. Dr. Kostecki was recognized for her work as the Director of Maternal and Newborn Inpatient Services. Congratulations Dr. Kostecki!
On Tuesday, October 16, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health recognized thirty-six individuals and organizations for their commitment to improving health outcomes. To improve the health care of our patients, we are installing a new electronic medical records system. Staff may be a bit slower than usual, and wait times may increase during this transition. Please be patient with us as we make this change. Staff are available in the waiting rooms to address any concerns patients have. The new electronic medical records system is funded in part by grants awarded by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency and CVS Caremark. You can read more about these grants here and here.
