Study Shows Health Centers Create Jobs and Provide Healthcare to the Underserved

On September 14, 2011, a study by the Geiger Gibson/RCHN Community Health Foundation Research Collaborative at the George Washington University showed that federal investment in Community Health Centers not only increases access to care to medically underserved populations, but also creates thousands of good jobs in the communities that need them the most.
