MetroWest Meds: A Prescription Drug Assistance Program

MetroWest Meds is designed to help eligible uninsured and under-insured individuals in the MetroWest area* receive medications through pharmaceutical company prescription drug programs. Pharmaceutical companies provide their brand name medications for free or at reduced rates to patients who meet their eligibility guidelines and complete an application. This process can be complex and time consuming for individuals attempting to access the programs on their own.

MetroWest Meds will work with you and your doctor to complete the application process required by the pharmaceutical companies.

*This service is free to eligible residents of the following towns:
Ashland, Bellingham, Dover, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Hudson, Marlborough, Medfield, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis, Natick, Needham, Norfolk, Northborough, Sherborn, Southborough, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, and Westborough.

For those who are deemed ineligible for the pharmaceutical company programs, every effort will be made to help you in locating other discounted sources of assistance.

You are eligible if you:

  • Lack prescription drug coverage through any state, military, or public/private medication program
  • Have a prescription for long-term medication(s).
  • Have income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
  • Reside in one of the towns listed above.
