Confidentiality is at the core of high-quality patient care. Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center takes your right to privacy and confidentiality very seriously and has set up a number of mechanisms to assure that the confidentiality of patient information is protected. In addition, we want to:
- provide you with the highest quality health care possible
- provide you with care in a safe and effective manager
- ensure your dignity
- respect your rights as a patient

Communications Preferences
During the new patient registration process, the Health Center collects contact information such as telephone, email, and cell phone numbers for the purpose of sending reminder calls, patient satisfaction surveys, and other matters related to your health care. Patients may opt-out of all contact by completing the request form during registration or may request one from their care team any time after.
Kennedy Community Health does not sell, rent or lease its patient lists to third parties. Kennedy Community Health may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email, text, voice calls, or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
